Integrative Medicine

Not just treating symptoms —
understanding why they occur.

If the same treatment keeps going without change — a different perspective may be needed.

Second Opinions Welcome  /  Concurrent Care with Primary Vet OK

A consultation that maps
not just symptoms, but
the structure behind them

In the initial consultation, we integrate constitution, lifestyle, nutrition, and environment into a single framework — to structurally understand why your pet is in their current state. We begin with the full picture before any treatment.

  • Treatment direction & priority planning

What Is the Initial Consultation?

If the same symptoms keep recurring, the cause may still be present.
The key difference from a standard exam is that our goal is not to "check symptoms" —
it is to reveal the structure behind the condition.

Our initial consultation goes beyond current symptoms to systematically organize constitution, lifestyle, nutrition, and environmental factors — helping us structurally understand "why this condition is happening now."

It is not merely a listening session. We integrate information to visualize the current state as a unified "structure," then design a direction for which areas to address first.

What Our Clients Say

Feedback from clients who have visited for integrative consultations.

My dog had been on multiple medications for a chronic condition for years — at one point there was more medicine than food in her bowl. At Ohana, every change happening in her body was explained clearly, and for the first time I truly understood what was causing each symptom. The doctor took time to understand what kind of treatment I wanted and gave detailed guidance on what was necessary, what to avoid, and what to watch for going forward. After visiting many clinics over the years, this was the first time I felt truly cared for. I'm so grateful we found Ohana.

K

Integrative Consultation

The doctor answers every question I have. Because the clinic is fully by appointment, my dog — who gets stressed around other animals — can have calm, relaxed visits every time. Each conversation eases my worries, and I feel I understand my dog better than ever: not just her illness, but who she really is.

Integrative Medicine · Fully By Appointment

My dog had been on pain medication and injections for chronic joint disease for years, and then incontinence and weakness started appearing. When I was told to add even more medication I got scared and sought a second opinion. The doctor reviewed all past bloodwork, identified root causes, and gradually transitioned her to herbal medicine and lower-risk options. Within two weeks the incontinence resolved and the unsteadiness in her legs is gone. I had truly given up hope — seeing her healthy again means everything. So glad I reached out.

Standard bloodwork at our regular vet wasn't catching the full picture. Through the mineral analysis I learned about imbalances I hadn't known existed, and the Eastern medicine perspective finally made sense of my dog's recent symptoms. After adjusting her diet and adding the recommended care, she lost weight effortlessly and her irritability has noticeably improved. Incredibly helpful.

T

Mineral Analysis & Integrative Counseling

One morning my dog suddenly couldn't walk — struggling to get up and falling over repeatedly. She's a senior, but I was so worried I brought her in right away. The doctor suspected something neurological, possibly related to intracranial pressure. After the very first treatment session, she was able to walk home. At another clinic I imagine we would have gone through extensive testing and medications. She has been enjoying her daily walks ever since. Thank you so much.
