TNR & Community Cat Surgery

TNR & Rescue Cat
Spay / Neuter

We support community cat TNR programs and the care of rescued cats.
Appointments available weekdays and Saturdays. Same-week bookings accepted.

Ear tip (tipping) is included as standard for TNR cats — the universal sign that a community cat has been sterilized.
Community cats (rescue cats not yet returned outdoors) are handled under a separate fee schedule.

What Is the Difference?

Please choose the correct category based on the cat's situation.

Community Cat

TNR
Trap · Neuter · Return

A community (stray or feral) cat that will be returned to its outdoor colony after surgery.

Flea/tick treatment, 3-core vaccine, and ear tip are included as standard. The cat does not need to be socialized.

Rescue / Indoor Cat

Rescue Cat
Protected / Being Socialized

A cat that has been taken in and is being cared for — either already living indoors or in the process of socialization before adoption.

Surgery only (antibiotics for 24–48 h included). Ear tip not performed.

Note: If the cat is pregnant or if abnormalities are discovered intraoperatively (e.g., abnormal ovaries), a surcharge will apply. Convenia (long-acting antibiotic injection) and cremation services are billed separately if requested.

Bringing the Cat to the Clinic

For the safety of the cat and smooth handling, please follow these guidelines.

Wrapping the Trap

Please cover the trap or carrier with a cloth (furoshiki, towel, or blanket) before transport. This keeps the cat calm and reduces stress.

Please line the bottom of the trap or carrier with pet pads or a folded cardboard piece before bringing the cat. This prevents soiling during transport.

Rescue / TNR & Appointment Policy

Eligibility & Conduct

  • Discounted rescue or TNR pricing is available only for verified rescue activities or approved organizations.
  • False representation of pet ownership or rescue status may result in refusal of discounted services, and future appointments may be declined.
  • Animals treated under rescue or TNR pricing must not be abandoned, relocated, rehomed, or transferred without prior notification when follow-up care or responsibility may be affected.
  • Follow-up communication after surgery may be required to help ensure appropriate post-operative care and animal welfare.

Recheck & Follow-up

  • Recheck appointments are required for all animals except TNR cats released after surgery. However, recheck may still be requested for TNR cats depending on their medical condition or recovery status.

Scheduling & Appointments

  • Same-day or urgent appointment requests cannot always be accommodated.
  • Surgical procedures require preparation time, equipment sterilization, staff scheduling, and case coordination. Requests sent late at night, early morning, or outside business hours may not be reviewed immediately.
  • Messages received outside business hours may be answered on the next business day.
  • Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee an appointment or surgical slot.
  • Frequent cancellations, repeated schedule changes, or last-minute withdrawal after reservation may result in refusal of future appointments.

Advance Payment

Advance payment may be required for:

  • First-time clients
  • TNR or rescue cases
  • Multiple-animal appointments
  • Urgent or same-day requests
  • Extended international support

Appointments are confirmed only after scheduling approval and, when applicable, receipt of deposit or advance payment.

International Support Services

Additional fees may apply for:

  • English documentation
  • Extended consultation time
  • Translation or interpretation support
  • Overseas communication handling
