We provide care in familiar surroundings, with attention to your pet’s comfort, health, and individual needs. From routine veterinary care to ongoing support for chronic conditions, senior pets, and end-of-life care, we work with you to find an approach that suits both your pet and your family.

as well as preventive care, blood draws and procedures — all in familiar surroundings.

A home visit helps us notice aspects of everyday life that may affect your pet’s health and may not be apparent during a clinic visit.
Slipping on hardwood flooring can strain the joints and create muscle tension.
We can assess whether food bowl and bed heights, room temperature, and the way your pet moves around the home may be contributing to their symptoms.
Understanding your pet’s diet and interactions with family helps us suggest practical changes suited to their needs.
The following services may be available during a home visit. We will assess your pet before deciding which tests or procedures are appropriate.
Because equipment and staffing on a house call are limited, some tests cannot be performed. If we judge that more advanced testing or treatment is needed, we will refer you to an appropriate facility. During busy periods, an immediate visit may not be available.

We discuss your pet’s symptoms and medical history, along with your concerns and goals. We then confirm whether a house call is suitable, discuss available appointments, and provide an estimated cost, including the travel fee.
We visit your home
We visit at the agreed time and take care to help your pet feel comfortable.
Examination & testing
We examine your pet, carry out appropriate tests or treatments, and consider how their home environment may affect their health.
Treatment & prescription
We suggest treatment and medication suited to your pet, and discuss a plan for ongoing care.
Payment & follow-up
After the consultation, we arrange payment, explain any care needed at home, and discuss follow-up visits as appropriate.
Travel fees are based on the actual driving distance from our clinic in Kadena Town. All prices include tax.
For destinations beyond 30 km, individual quotes are also available.
* A surcharge applies due to traffic conditions and scheduling.
* The surcharge is determined by the time the consultation begins at your home, not the time we leave the clinic.
* Each visit takes roughly 2–3 hours including travel and consultation, so the finishing time varies with the start time.
* For same-day visits, 16:00 is the latest visit start time we can accept.
* As a rule, we do not make house calls at night (from 18:00).
* Where paid parking is used, the parking fee is charged at cost.
The travel fee is calculated by actual driving distance. Expressway tolls are billed separately at cost; for distant areas or outlying islands, please consult us in advance.

We review blood test results, hair mineral analysis, diet and lifestyle together, then provide a written summary with recommendations for ongoing care.

Consultation fees are separate from the travel fee. Testing, procedures and medication are charged separately.
* We allow approximately 45 minutes for a first Eastern and integrative medicine visit so we can carefully review your pet's constitution and history. Additional time may be charged at ¥2,200 per 15 minutes.

It depends on our schedule, but booking by the day before is the surest option. If our schedule is open, we can accommodate a next-day request. Same-day visits are possible when there is availability, though depending on the symptoms we may not have the necessary medication in stock. We do our best to meet your preferred date, so please get in touch first.
Yes. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us by email as early as possible. Because we operate by appointment only, we reserve dedicated consultation time for each patient. A cancellation fee may apply to last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Repeated changes or cancellations may result in our being unable to accept future bookings.
Yes. In addition to house calls, we also see patients at the clinic (by appointment).
We serve all of Okinawa Main Island, with a focus on Central Okinawa around Kadena. Please see the fee table for details.
It helps if you can provide a space to park. If that's difficult, please let us know in advance. If we use paid parking, the parking fee will be charged at cost.
If you prefer, we can see your pet at the entrance. A yard may not be possible depending on the weather, and in a yard or garage we can only perform simple procedures such as vaccinations. Acupuncture and body work for bedridden pets can be done at the entrance, but not in bad weather, heat or rain — in those cases, please arrange an indoor space.
In ordinary weather, yes. During storms such as typhoons, we may reschedule for safety.
It varies with the tests and treatment involved, but if you ask us in advance we can give you a rough estimate.
Of course. Signs that seem minor — "a bit low on energy," vomiting, diarrhea, red or itchy skin — often turn out, on examination and testing, to be conditions that need prompt treatment. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
We perform weight and temperature checks, a full physical exam, and urine and stool tests as appropriate for your pet's breed and age. Blood draws are also possible (we'll ask the family to help with gentle restraint). We're happy to provide vaccinations and advice for newly adopted pets. * Imaging such as X-rays and ultrasound cannot be done on a house call.
Yes. We adapt our approach to each pet, including non-insertive (contact) acupuncture. We'll proceed as gently as possible for anxious cats too, so please rest assured.
If you'd like, we're happy to discuss training and behavior during a house call. Our veterinarian is also a JKC-certified trainer and can advise on how to hold the leash and on handling (we do not provide specialized training such as for police dogs).
If traveling to the clinic is stressful for your pet, we can discuss whether supplements or Kampo herbal medicine may help them feel more at ease. Some options may not be suitable for pets with certain medical conditions.
Absolutely. Please share any test results from your primary vet and any medications currently prescribed.
Yes. We can discuss end-of-life care and support you in caring for your pet at home, with a focus on comfort and quality of life.
Our house calls are for dogs and cats only.
We usually ask a family member to help hold their pet during examinations, blood draws, and other procedures. If your pet tends to struggle or you are worried about holding them safely, please let us know in advance.
As a rule, we do not make house calls at night (from 18:00). For same-day visits, 16:00 is the latest visit start time we can accept.
We issue an itemized statement after the visit, which you can submit to your insurance provider. If you need a receipt, please ask us in advance. For details, please check with your insurance provider.
We're sorry, but surgery cannot be performed on a house call. We also cannot handle emergencies, as we lack the full facilities of a clinic and travel takes time. In time-critical situations, we recommend visiting your nearest animal hospital.
Care may be difficult when the situation is urgent and a fully equipped clinic is more appropriate, when hospitalization or in-clinic boarding for treatment is needed, or when a pet is so aggressive that no one can safely restrain them.
